Nutrisystem Meal – Turkey Ham & Cheese Omelet

The Nutrisystem Turkey Ham and Cheese Omelet is now my go-to breakfast. And sometimes dinner. This frozen meal is so easy, especially on those crazy mornings when everyone needs something from me.

I have struggled with my weight for years. And being diagnosed as a diabetic this year has not helped that struggle. I think one of my primary downfalls is the convenience factor. The diabetic friendly meal options from Nutrisystem have really turned things around. Thank you Nutrisystem! And thank you for the Nutrisystem discount codes in 2018.

The Turkey Ham and Cheese Omelet is high in protein, low in fat and has no carbs. It’s the perfect way to start my day on the right foot – without making a mess of my kitchen.

Now I must confess, frozen eggs are not always appealing. But this Nutrisystem meal is so easy to spice up with some salsa, a little sour cream and I am all set. My kids like to add ketchup too. Gross!

Not to mention, the ease of popping it in the microwave while I’m getting the kids’ lunches ready or letting the dogs out, is a life saver most mornings. Even the kids ask for them some mornings, especially when the smell starts to fill the kitchen. Who doesn’t love the smell of ham in the morning?

If given the option, I would choose a muffin or bagel or some fiber-filled, sugary goodness for breakfast. But with my goal to get my diabetes under control AND lose weight, this quick and easy breakfast by Nutrisystem hits the spot every time. Not an ounce of guilt here, even when I add a dash of salt!

The reviews from others are mixed. I’ve gotten some great ideas for changing it up on mornings when I have time. I’m looking forward to trying sautéed mushrooms and onions with it. I believe they will make it really pop.

The amount of food is limited. But let’s be honest, when you are trying to lose weight, portion control is key. And this really helps me personally to not overindulge. But for those days when I’m starving, I will admit to heating up two and feeling quite satisfied.

If you are not fighting diabetes, but still count your calories, this meal is excellent. At only 90 calories per serving, it doesn’t even put a dent in your calorie count for the day. When I don’t have time to fry up some bacon and eggs…I enjoy Nutrisystem’s quick and easy Turkey Ham and Cheese Omelet. And I sometimes take a bite of Nutrisystem’s muffin as a dessert.
